Meet Madison Light, Golden Chiropractic's Newest Intern
You may notice a new smiling face around our office in the coming weeks. That is Madison Light, Golden Chiropractic’s latest intern.
We’re excited about having Madison in our office. She shares one of our core beliefs when it comes to patient care: that the human-to-human relationship is critical to healing, feeling good, and thriving.
Madison wants to help her patients heal through human connection.
"It is so important for patients to feel like they have someone on their side, someone who cares for them and wants to see them feel better.
“I love seeing patients flourish after getting the care they need. Hearing about the little wins—mental, physical, and occupational—brings me joy.”
She chose a career in chiropractic because it provides that connection.
“I shadowed medical doctors and physician assistants for years. I saw how detached modern healthcare can be. I decided manual therapy would be more fulfilling and healing for my future patients, and for myself.
“Dr. Goldi’s approach to patient care is truly admirable—she treats everyone like family, showing deep empathy and making genuine connections. I find it so inspiring."
In 2024, Madison volunteered at a chiropractic clinic in Mexico.
“When I was volunteering in Mexico, I treated a man who had numbness and tingling in his hand for over 10 years. He had never been to a chiropractor before.
“After one manual cervical adjustment, he had over 90% improvement in symptoms by the next day. While this isn’t the case for everyone, it was amazing to see such a drastic improvement after years of suffering.”
For Madison, managing pain with chiropractic is personal.
Madison has enjoyed the healing and balancing effects of chiropractic as a patient, as well as a practitioner.
She especially appreciates chiropractic's ability to treat headaches:
"I have suffered from debilitating chronic tension headaches for most of my life. Getting regular chiropractic care has changed my life. I went from having headaches 3-4x per week to less than one per month. "
Madison has a human-focused educational and professional background.
Madison earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She's completed other wellness-focused certifications as well: Myofascial Decompression Cup Therapy and Registered Yoga Instructor.
Currently Madison is pursuing her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West.
Madison has worked in the healthcare and wellness industry for the last 10 years. Her experience includes dental office receptionist, yoga instructor, and family therapy content creator.
Outside of the clinic, Madison is passionate about yoga, hiking, and plant care.
Madison has been practicing yoga for over 14 years and finds it to be a great way to care for both her body and her mind.
Madison also enjoys caring for her many plants, which she says provides a sense of purpose and parallels the human wellness journey.
We’re excited to welcome Madison to Golden Chiropractic.
Her commitment to patient care and passion for natural healing align perfectly with our values. We’re looking forward to seeing the positive impact she’ll have on our patients and on our community.
